Sekhmet is one of the oldest known Egyptian deities! Some researchers say she originated in Sudan where lions are more plentiful. Sekhmet is also the goddess of medicine and menstruation. Her name is used in prayers to protect borders and cure diseases. Physicians, healers, and skilled doctors, all revered Sekhmet. She is “The Lady of Terror” and “The Lady of Life”.

Sekhmet was mentioned numerous times in spells of The Book of The Dead as both a creative and destructive force. But she is mostly known as a fierce protector of Ma’at. “The One Who Loves Ma’at and Who Detest Evil”. Bast, another cat goddess, is a sistar goddess to Sekhmet and was also celebrated with her at gatherings and parties. Ancient Egypt and the royal cat goddesses remain legendary till this day. Sekhmet was also a party animal! Without the fun side, Sekhmet was sure to destroy humanity. Huge parties were given in her name to restore the balance. What an amazing time to be alive and witness some of our most profound transformations! I’m very excited to see more interest in 13 sign astrology! With satellite apps and the internet, we really don’t have any excuse for blindly staying on the western zodiac when it does not line up to the actual stars. Times are changing rapidly and knowing correct star placements really makes all the difference.

The lunar moon energy we have coming  in today is Pisces! A Full Moon Lunar Eclipse! As I have stated in my previous articles, we are in the middle of great changes. And we are actively reorganizing our mind body connection with this current Mercury Retrograde season! The effects of this Full Moon Eclipse will last for 6 months or more! If you know anything about astrology, Virgo and Pisces are both signs of the woman. The Virtue of Maat & The Essence of Mamiwata. This shift in consciousness will start in the mind (Virgo) and will revolutionize our relationship to women and our Mother Earth. This is a massive overhaul as we work thru the end of Mercury Retrograde & it’s shadow next week! It’s time to merge all realities. Here on Earth there is a coming together of our spiritual awareness that cannot be stopped. This is, within ourselves and also with each other. We are able to feel each other’s pain, joy, and everything in between. Focus on the Joy. We are all connected. The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces will signify a deeper spiritual integration in this global massive cleanup sweeping the Earth! More spiritual groups and movements are starting to emerge as we women are waking up to our true power! Virgo and Pisces are very feminine and healing signs. This is a great time to honor and give back to the women around you, especially if you are a woman. It will strengthen your own truth. Happy Full Moon Lunar Eclipse!

Welcome to the Aquarius freedom loving Full Moon cycle! This one is a penumbral lunar eclipse and will barely be visible. Aquarius is all about you being you, sharing your spiritual talents and gifts with humanity. Aquarius, in ancient Egypt, is known as Hapi, God of the annual flooding of the Nile. Hapi is a fertility God and is considered to be ‘Father of the Gods’. He was known to be loving, caring and all about collective peace. Hapi has breasts and a protruding belly to represent the fertility of the Nile. He is androgynous and here to remind us that We are One. His priests were responsible for measuring and predicting the water levels of the Nile. Something so many different life forms depended on. Water. For this reason Aquarius represents our scientific, higher mind and collective consciousness. Channels. Currency. Frequency and Air Waves. The Universal Mind. The water, that which unites us and aligns our intentions through waves of consciousness. At times, it can be electric and shocking! Massive social changes and events are happening to teach us how to evolve further. Everything is connected and we must learn how to adapt to current world affairs. New Moon in Cancer…… Khepera, the Scarab Beetle

Happy New Moon!

Hi everyone! If you’ve been following my 13 sign astrology info, then you know this new moon is in the constellation of Cancer, not Leo. Check your google sky map apps! Verify the accuracy of sidereal and 13 sign astrology for yourselves. This is a very important distinction right here, to be on actual star placements. The difference between Cancer and Leo is massive! Like Night & Day. Cancer, the sign of Moon incubation and Leo is the Sun, manifestation. Before you can manifest anything, it has to be felt in the unseen world first. Cancers symbol in ancient Egyptian astrology is the scarab beetle. The scarab is a very mystical symbol filled with messages of the eternal internal world. It digs and buries itself just to be reborn again, much like the moon. This process of gestation and growth belong to Cancer. The mysterious and changeable sign represents mother ocean and all its varied existence. Everything is born from the ocean. Cancer is a cardinal sign and highlights feelings in motion. Emotion. The ebb and flow of life. Cancer is all about the family. The deep connections. Ancestral, karmic, and cosmic, they are all Cancers domain. Everything goes back to the ocean, the womb of all Life. New Moon in Cancer is here to remind us to nurture our roots. This energy will last for 2 weeks till the next Full moon. The Shadow of Mercury Retrograde will be here on August 10th! The actual Mercury Retrograde starts on August 30th. For the Cancer New Moon, make sure you drink your WATER! Really. This new moon cycle is also here to remind us that Life will flow smoothly if we stay hydrated. Yep, and it’s time to do that fast if you’ve been putting it off. I get through Summer months by doing a few different cleanses, so it’s not so strong of a purge in the Fall. Aloe Vera and melons, especially cucumber, are fruits governed by the moon. Eat em up! They can be your best friend during sensitive and emotional times like these. I swear by herbal teas too. Peppermint, maca, ginger, lemon, chamomile, etc. Drink it up! Coconut water mixed with fresh juices has been my latest cleansing obsession. Most of the time when we’re feeling down we are actually dehydrated.  And to all the highly emotional people out there, bath rituals are essential. Use sea salt, essential oils, stones, apple cider vinegar, candles, prayers, milks, and honey to soothe your soul. Mother takes care of All. Never forget that you are loved and free to embrace the essence of the Goddess that surrounds you. Float on!

Full Moon in Sagittarius…..Tehuti the Magician

Happy Full Moon!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all enjoying my 13 sign esoteric astrology articles. In reality there are 13 months per year! The Moon completes it’s cycle every 28 days. 28 X 13 =364 The number 13 symbolizes completion representing the Fullness. Moon Goddess Energy as well as the 13 Signs of the Real Zodiac. This Full Moon completed itself on border’s edge, the very last drops in constellation Sagittarius, the wise Sage. This actually means the message of this moon is stronger. Use this time to make sense of all the wisdom and lessons you have accumulated over the years, especially in the last few. At the end of 2012 for the Mayan Calendar alignment, our Ascension process accelerated. The Earth and all its inhabitants have been transforming rapidly ever since. That means you! We are All now called for this full moon cycle to dig deep and find the meaning. Use the wisdom of those lessons and the knowledge you have gathered to move forward. New Moon in Gemini. . . . . Sirius the Dog Star

This month, the new moon is directly on Sirius in Gemini! The ancient Dog Star. This is the guide into the underworld for the Egyptians and many other celestial based ancient societies. Sirius is the brightest star in the sky and believed to be the birth place of the creation Gods, Goddesses, and to humanity. The pyramids and many ancient stories about our stellar origin mainly point to this star. The mystical Dogon traditions are based on Sirius A and its star companions Sirius B & C. This was looong before modern telescopes even registered these stars physically in the sky! Traditionally in astrology, Sirius is a very fortunate star! It is the Star of Isis and the Nile River. This star marked the annual flooding and was the start of the ancient Egyptian Calendar. Summer Solstice. In these times of rapid change, it is important to remain balanced and open to the positive changes signaled by this super abundant New Moon alignment! Gemini and Sirius are the Messengers. Greek god Hermes aka Mercury is also the medium for souls to the underworld. This New Moon is to be utilized as a way to have deeper communication with our ancestors through words, spells, chants, and libation ceremonies. It calls for a balance of the divine Masculine and Feminine. The Right and Left Brain. Dark Matter and Shadows. The Underworld. Fertile Soil. Black was a symbol of fertility and rebirth to the ancient Egyptians. This New Moon will be very therapeutic in facing our fears and mental blockages. Working with black stones for the next few weeks will be extremely beneficial. My favorites are Black Tourmaline, Onyx, Black Obsidian, and Snowflake Obsidian. Use them in meditation and keep them next to you while you sleep. The New Moon is the Dark Moon Phase. There’s no need to be afraid of darkness. Most of the universe is predominately dark matter and it has much to teach us.

Full Moon Summer Solstice. . . . .The Summer Of Love

Happy Full Moon Summer Solstice!

Hi Everyone! I hope you are All enjoying my esoteric astrology articles!
Today marks the Summer Solstice! Activating the 4 Corners of the Sacred Seasonal Cross. Which means, it’s officially the 1st day of Summer. Right now, it’s very important to remain SUPER positive about the good in your Life starting today! Summer Solstice is that time of the year with the most sunlight. This year it’s June 20th to the 24th that have the 4 longest days of Light! After June 24th, the days are shorter and the nights become longer. These 4 days should be spent in meditation, affirmation, and deep prayer. Again, stay positive, focus on your goals, and pay attention to your dreams. There will be a deeper meaning behind them for this alignment. This is the perfect time to get readings and tune into your higher self. Ra the Sun God is in full force, raising our kundalini of Awareness! This is a time of deep programming. A time to cleanse the Light Body and visualize what you want to manifest in your Life!

The Summer Solstice was the most important day of the year in ancient Egypt. Our original Solar Calendar was calibrated to the rising of Sirius on this day! This is the star of Goddess Isis/Auset. Annual flooding of the mighty Nile River would also happen for the Solstice, and it is the basis of all ancients worship, ceremonies, and rituals that developed in its path. We have this alignment to thank as the birth place of the stars and the most prominent deities. The Great Pyramids are calibrated to this star. The level of creativity is very high in this area of the sky.  In ancient Egypt, Summer Solstice was the beginning of the New Year. This is the Spiritual New Year’s Day! This is a rise in Consciousness. This is the Wishing cycle, where your most powerful visions will be answered. Create a ritual to honor the light within yourself and all those around you. This is a Spiritual Renewal!

*This is the first Full Moon on a Summer Solstice since 1967, The Summer of Love. That Year sparked off widespread social movements that we’re seeing come alive again today! #GoBernie This is definitely an omen of global Change, and it will require us All to shift into a higher form of Love.

New Moon in Taurus. . . . . . The Goddess of Love

Happy New Moon!

A new moon occurs when the Sun and the Moon are conjunct or aligned in the same zodiac sign. In real 13 sign astrology that means it’s happening in the constellation of Taurus, the cow horn priestess, Het Heru. The Sun will actually stay in Taurus until June 19th! New Moon’s a time of deep introspection and setting intentions for the month’s new beginnings. Het Heru is the Goddess of love and she therefore represents creative manifestation. She teaches us to enjoy life and actualize our dreams. What we see in our mind is what we feel in our hearts and this new moon is all about it! She is The Law of Attraction. Before anything can manifest, it has to exist in our spirit first! We create our life with our imagination. Het Heru reminds us to channel our sexual energy into higher spiritual realms. She is THE sky Goddess giving birth to our reality here on earth. The sacred cow. We create what we desire and focus on with a passion. Anything goes, so focus wisely.

This is a very sensual new moon highlighting art, music, dance and fertility. Het Heru also is represented as Oshun, Aphrodite, Venus and Hathor. Her worship is very old and even predates the official dynasties of ancient Egypt. She is everything that is true and good. The mother of light in the sky. Manifestation.
To maximize the potential in this new moon, beautify yourself and All around you. Work with The Power of Intention. The Power of Creation. If you’ve been looking for a creative breakthrough, now is this time! Activate the kundalini (sexual) energy.  Work with the subconscious mind to visualize the life you want. This is how life is created. Channel your imagination to inspire something beautiful with love and art. Make a new vision board. Focus only on what you want to happen in your Life. Het Heru is the mother of every God and every Goddess. So you have to go through her to manifest anything here on Earth, with love and creativity, of course.

Full Moon in Libra…Scorpio’s Claws of Life and Death

*Happy Full Moon!

*Welcome to my 13 sign esoteric Astrology blog! I write about the hidden secret meanings of planetary alignments most western astrology perspectives cannot give you. Simply put, the western zodiac is not based on the actual movements in the sky! While the Sidereal zodiac is star based, even more so is the study of 13 signs, which includes the ever elusive constellation Serpentarius Ophiuchus.  That’s if you want to be even more aligned to what’s actually happening in the Heavens! So if you’re following western dates, you’re just not aligning with the stars. The Greeks mainly used a man-made seasonal time, which is not based on constellations. I have dedicated a good portion of my life to uncovering and decoding the true star map and it’s messages in the Sky. And I just so happen to be born the 1st day of the 13th Sign, Seprentarius Ophiuchus! 😉

This Full Moon is truly located in Libra stars, which are the ancient Claws of the giant Scorpion!

Who knew that the Scales of Justice were originally the Claws? Yep, and that’s where we will be illuminated by the moon this month. Last month I explained how Virgo is the sign of mental health and balance. Maat (Balance) begins in the mind, body and spirit of the Virgo Earth Matrix mother. This full moon will highlight her scales of justice. The balance between Life and Death (Scorpio). What we hold onto, and also what we choose to let go of creates a never ending cycle of life and death continuously. The Scorpion’s claws. A few thousand years ago, The Romans renamed the hands of the Scorpion, the scales of Libra. But originally Virgo and Scorpio were connected! There was no Libra! You can easily still look this up! In the sky, the stars on Libra‘s scales have remained named the North and South Claws to this very day! The North Claw is Zubeneschamali and the Southern Claw is Zubenelgenubi. And if we look deeply into the animal symbolism depicted, the scorpion uses its claws for making love as well as for slaying its prey. Whoa! Make love not war right!? The inner battle/balance within Libra’s scales (claws) of truth and justice are also ever present in every facet of our relationships, as well as our personal desires. The Libra Scorpio zone in the sky takes partnerships, relationships, and soul contracts of every kind, very seriously. Sometimes our claws just won’t let go. Until death do we part? Sometimes this area of our psyche doesn’t even know the difference. There really is a thin line between Love and Hate. Love and War. Life and Death.

The vulture Goddess Nekhbet

Therefore, we can easily see how and why the constellations of Virgo and Scorpio will always be intertwined. Libra is just another aspect of the original life-death-life Goddess pantheon, and there are many. Check your Google Sky Maps app! The Full Moon will be complete in Libra on the edge of Scorpio tonight! Egyptian goddess Nekhbet, the vulture, is said to represent this area of the sky. She is forever bound to her twin sister Wadjet, the snake goddess, and together they uphold the laws of Maat, each presiding over Northern and Southern Egypt. Nekhbet is known for her protective and loving side. Vultures are always seen in pairs. She is also the fierce protector of mothers and childbirth and is the official goddess watching over the pharaoh from birth to death. The qualities of a vulture in ancient Egypt are associated with Godliness because of her immense size, power and ability to sore very high up into the sky!

The ancient Egyptians strongly emphasized that life here on Earth is to be utilized as preparation for the Eternal Life on the Otherside. With this comes a great deal of never ending choices. That which to hold on to. That which to let go of. There is always a price to pay for what we choose, a sacrifice of some sort. Working with the principles of Maat, we know that the ultimate truth is universal Oneness. Living in Maat is still paramount especially as we navigate thru this zone of the sky for our Full Moon awakening. We have all come to a crossroads in our lives and want to ascend to a higher level of development for this Full Moon. Health, healing and cleansing are still key. I would say even more so as we get deeper into the Underworld with the resurrection Goddesses. Use prayer and intuition to formulate your own personal brand of rituals that are needed at this time. The deities/energies associated with this full moon are all working on balancing our inner world. I invite you all to work on this exercise with me:

*Write a list of all your strengths/positive attributes. Now write a list of all your weaknesses or what you consider to be negative traits that are holding you back from your highest potential. And finally I want you to work on eliminating your weaknesses by emphasizing your strengths! Very simple yet very important for this zone of the sky. Don’t hesitate to call on the power of our ancient guides working deeply within this energy. There are a number of creation/afterlife gods and goddesses. Some of my favorite are Maat, Isis (Auset), Osiris (Ausar), Anubis, Serket, Wadjet, Persephone, Chiron, Medusa and Nekhbet. Studying their roles in antiquity should give us a good sense of what is at work in our daily lives for the next 2 weeks. The scales of Libra, the Claws of the Scorpion represent that which we hold onto and that which we must let go of in order to rebirth ourselves.
